The Amazon Kindle is a line of e-book readers developed and marketed by Amazon. The Kindle devices allow users to browse, purchase, download, and read e-books, newspapers, magazines, and other digital media via wireless networking to the Kindle Store. The original Kindle was first released on November 19, 2007 and the latest version is Kindle Oasis (9th generation) was released on April 27, 2021. It has a 6-inch E-ink display, and supports both Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity.

Kindles are designed to provide a better reading experience than traditional computer screens or smartphones, with a screen that's easy to read in sunlight and a battery that can last for weeks on a single charge.   5. Kindle: Latest basic Kindle is the 10th gen with a 6 inches e-ink display and available with or without special offers and 4GB internal storage

  6. Kindle Kids Edition : This model is geared towards children, it comes with a 2-year worry-free guarantee, kid-friendly content, and parental controls.

These are the main models that have been released by Amazon, but there have also been a number of special editions and limited releases over the years, as well as international versions of the Kindle that may have slight differences.
