The world will be watching as Australia and New Zealand become among the first nations in the world to not only flatten the curve but lift restrictions. Australia is set to launch a roadmap today on easing lockdown restrictions put in place by Covid-19. Early rumours about lower restrictions are allowing children’s birthday parties to resume, larger groups at weddings, funerals and increasing the household gatherings to ten people.
There is plenty of speculation around when cafe’s, restaurants and bars will reopen and the possibility of creating a Trans-Tasman ‘travel bubble’.
One thing is for sure, when the roadmap is announced later today we need to remember to keep the basic measures of washing our hands in place. We have learnt through Covid-19 we touch our faces about 16 times an hour and continue touching our smartphones, tablets and watches without thinking about this.
If you’re now looking at your phone and remembering research tells us it’s dirtier than most toilets, then it’s time for you to take aim at harmful pathogens and bacteria and arm yourself with an antibacterial screen protector for your devices.
